This is a linocut print of Saltburn's Cliff LIft - it's furnicular railway is the oldest (1884) operating water balance cliff list in the UK.
It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image.
It is a limited variable print from an edition of just 16 prints using Strathmore Heavyweight
printing paper, 280gsm and Caligo Safe Wash printing inks. The image size is 30.5cm
x 30cm and the paper size is approx 38cm x 38cm which gives a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they
will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
All of my prints are flat packed if delivered within the UK, and will be sent packaged in tissue
and a tube if delivered outside of the UK. If international delivery required, please contact me for a price and to arrange delivery (info@susannoble.co.uk) .
